BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

We offer a developmental program with a nurturing and safe environment for children. The program focus is on the individual needs of the children as well as the group needs. Overall, the program reflects a philosophy of positive self-esteem, health, independence and a spirit of sharing, within an environment, which is sensitive to the multicultural needs of the community. Programming is done on a daily basis, based on the needs and interests of the children. The program is planned, with the children's input, and offers many activities from which to choose: The Art Studio, The Lab, Architecture & Design, The Stage, The Meeting Place, The Great Outdoors, Clubs & Projects. Before and After School Program serving Markham, Richmond Hill and Vaughan.

CLUBS

Throughout the year a variety of clubs are offered, based on the interests of the children.

A few examples are cooking, Board Games, Sewing, Fine Arts, Dodge ball, Soccer, Drama, scrap booking.

HOMEWORK

The children have the opportunity to do their homework. The parents and children work out a homework arrangement and the staff encourage and remind the children. Homework is a choice. If the children need help, the staff provide the help.

PA DAYS

PA day programs are offered at an additional rate. Parents have a choice to register. Lunch and snacks are provided and so are exciting trips. In the past we have gone to Indoor Beach Volleyball, Rock Climbing, Movies, etc.
