PHILOSOPHY
Kids Connection Care and Education offers developmental programs with nurturing and safe environments for all the children. The program focus is on the individual needs of the child as well as on group needs. Overall, the programs reflect a philosophy of positive self-esteem, health, independence and a spirit of sharing within an environment, which is sensitive to the multicultural needs of the community.

GOALS
The main goal of the Corporation is to provide well rounded programs that promote the emotional, social, physical and intellectual development of all the children. We believe that these goals can be best met by providing the children with a small family type setting in a loving and caring atmosphere, provided by a carefully chosen, trained, professional staff.
At our centres, each child is encouraged to explore, discover and manipulate his/her environment with emphasis on success and safety within limits that are reasonable and consistent. Our staff provides a stimulating environment that will challenge the child so that s/he can learn and grow. In this way the program fosters self-confidence, functional interdependence and independence.

OBJECTIVES
In our programs, each child will learn to develop in all areas: physical, intellectual, creative, emotional and social. We strive to create a safe and happy atmosphere that will help the child develop to his/her full potential. Each child will have the opportunity to develop awareness of the world around him/her by experience activities that area relevant to current day issues. We encourage children to demonstrate their feelings and needs through interaction and cooperation with peers and adults. Children are taught to recognize that their actions have consequences. Furthermore, they are taught skills that help them to solve interpersonal conflicts with minimal adult intervention.

Play is a child's work-a very serious activity that allows him/her to try on roles and emotions, experimenting with objects in every conceivable manner and using materials in the most creative ways. We believe a child's art is his/her own statement and not a copy to his/her teachers or classmates. Techniques and skills can be learned but creativity cannot.
